The Hollywood film industry does about 8 billion dollars a year. Videogames do about the same amount of business.
The adult (pornograhic) movie business is about 12 billion a year.
Movies may reach more people, but there is more money in other businesses.

The video game industry has just recently become a billion dollar industry. The movie industry has done this ages ago. The movie industry is also a lot more popular worldwide, and the videogame industry is only popular in some countries.

I don't know which one is bigger. What I think is really interesting is the new genre that is developing, which is the combination of the two. We have a lot of video games made after movies, and movies made after video games, it is only a matter of time before the movie is a video game.

yes yes the movie industry is way bigger all over the world. the game industry is way smaller... they do produce alot of games. but the movie industry produce all sort of movies in the world.
