People ask me what I am all the time but twice this week people have asked if I was Romanian. What are some characteristics?

Just to clarify, I get asked all the time what my heritage is. I always ask them to guess before letting them know that I'm really not sure. Romanian just happened to be the most common answer lately. I do have large eyes and a square face, high cheek bones and dark hair. My hair is not thin though. I look a lot like my aviator I think. I was just curious about facial features and how they may be seen as a certian nationality.

ok,first of all im romanian,and this question seemed quite strange to me...romanians are no different in facial features then most of the countries from Europe,or any other country where there is a majority of white caucasian people...i can honestly say that i have never heard someone say "hey,u surely look like a romanian",and those of u that answered previously are surely makin a confusion..u probably mistake the gipsy minority for native romanians,its a big difference..."big square face"?..."big eyeholes and framy face bones"??? r u kiddin' me?!...

i have never been able to distinguish white people by ethinicities no offense, the only i can distiguish is serbian and maybe italian.
people always ask what i am, this chinese boy in 2nd grade used to call me chinese all the time, at one point i started to cry and i told the teacher, and she goes she is african-american not chinese, and then he goes ok she is african-american, then 5 minutes later he went back to callin me chinese lol.
ive been told i look black and white, black and asian, and black and hispanic. but im black, i look the way i do because i have native american in me that is recent, my great grandmother was cherokee, maybe u have a few other things in you, that u may noot know about.
they say 1 in every 25 white people have black ancestry from slavery. also most americans have native american in them.

Try to google it...There are European sites on this,same as Asian and African sites...
Gypsies are worse than Romanians just that they are totally unrelated one to another...
