Capricorn. Their young life is never really easy for them. There is always some hurt or lack to deal with. Their best years come later in life - after the age of 40. They always seem to look younger rather than old, the older they get. Capricorn/Saturn always rules later in life. It is not until after the age of 40 that they actually learn to loosen up and feel young and free. Something they never really had as children. There was always so much hardship or responsibility or limitation placed on them whether parental, family, healthwise, etc. Aquarius rising is never seen as serious. They are too far ahead of their time and seen as people who "walk to the beat of a different drummer." Or, by ignorant people, seen as just plain flakey. Parenst of children with Aquarius rising often will say to them, "Why can't you be more like your brothers and sisters? Why do you have to be so different?" It's because they are ahead of their time, like many of the great inventors. Capricorn rising, or Saturn in the first or Sun aspecting Saturn or Moon aspecting Saturn always makes one serious and older than their years.

Maturity and seriousness do not necessarily go together.
If you want "seriousness", go for earth signs, Capricorn or Taurus and especially if there is restraining energy around Saturn and Venus. Artists are my first choice, economists my second choice. Stay away from lawyers.
If you want "maturity", go for Virgos. Say away from Pisces. Cancer's can fool you: they appear to be serious, but then they're very immature. OR ELSE.....they appear to be mature and clear-headed, but then turn out to be quite frivolous.
Aquarius, for the most part, are not characterized as being "mature" or "serious"...........altho, when it concerns THEM, they can be VERY serious and make incredibly mature judgments when it effects their personal lives. OTHER people may end up being collateral damage, but what the hell?
