Try some of these places:
http://www.powells.com/
http://www.barnesandnoble.com/
http://www.allbookstores.com/
http://www.bookfinder.com/
You could also try googling the title and also search for it on eBay. I find lots of hard to find books on eBay.

attempt giving your self a very sketchy define. A commencing up; a midsection; an end. that may no longer stone besides the incontrovertible fact that it provides a framework wherein to link all the climate of your tale. Write in a linear vogue. rather of a scene right here and one there then going decrease back and then writing one close to the top attempt writing from that commencing off to that midsection scene and then from the midsection to the top. That way the story constantly has a direction. attempt to no longer edit too a lot. If this is your first attempt you could constantly flow decrease back later yet get right into a superb groove first. a lot of writers and authors do no longer in hassle-free terms like the 1st issues they write. Many initiate with a prologue as a fashion to grant themselves someplace to start. Others initiate with a scene that they intend for the midsection of the unconventional yet finally end up figuring out that the action is bigger than the telling and artwork the story around filling the reader in. back ideally you like to place in writing one entire cohesive piece of artwork so which you will say 'I did it'. With time you will discover the approach gets much less perplexing and your writing will strengthen. J...

I know this might sound lame and just to warn you, it can be time consuming, but try google searching the book.
I was able to buy an out-of-print book ("Now Face to Face" by Karleen Koen) from some bookseller in the UK. It's a hardcover book and it cost about $35 altogether.
I found it by google searching it.
Good luck! And have patience!

Try www.bestbookbuys.com -- it compiles titles from a variety of used book dealers, including the big ones like alibris, abebooks and half.com, and lists them by price.
You can also try ebay. They have a feature that will send you an email when a listing that meets your search criteria is listed, so you don't have to check everyday.
I also second the answer that suggested your local library. This service is called inter-library loan.

go to the library and ask for help finding it. even if they don't have it themselves, they can borrow it from anywhere in the USA. it's one of my jobs at our library to find books we don't have and borrow them from other libraries. I've also loaned ours to libraries all over the USA. but it's just to borrow, not to buy.
