No mammal has a brain or even a section of brain like a reptile, despite the cliche. Those are dumbed-down terms for people without advanced science studies to try and wrap their mind around when it comes to something infinitely complicated, such as the human brain.

Do you catch pneumonia from having wet hair, outside, too? :)

I suppose death and decomposition could cause the cerebellum to "dissolve".
