Everyone always seems to like green or blue eyes (I love green or turquoise too). But one day someone surprised me by coming up to me and saying "i love your eyes, they're so dark!" My eyes are very dark brown, like the color of ebony wood, and I have mediterranean skin. Do people actually really like dark brown eyes?

Lots of people have dark eyes but if you accentuate yours with a dark eyeliner and make them stand out, they will catch people's attention just as a bright eye color would.
Dark eyes against medium to tan skin tones do tend to stand out more. Great contrast I guess.
Dark eyes can also appear to be more mysterious.
Says a lot about the person complimenting..:)

I have dark brown eyes & some times I wish I had light colored eyes but I would never change because I always get compliments on my eyes. They are big beautiful eyes that are exotic looking & I love them! Plus I have the tan skin & brown hair to go with it so it all goes together good & makes me who I am :)
Be proud of whatever eye color you have!

What's so bad about brown eyes? I mean seriously?! I have dark brown eyes and nobody says anything about them. I mean, i dont go up 2 blue eyed people and make fun of the color of their eyes. So yes, people can like brown eyes as well as other colored eyes.

I have always liked the skin/eye combination you have. My wife is Hispanic with the most beautiful dark eyes I have ever seen (I have to look closely to tell the demarcation between the iris and pupil).
I'm white with blue eyes; fortunately for me, that's what she likes?

One thing you can count on is that people's tastes are varied. Of course some people prefer brown eyes; others prefer blue, or green, or hazel, or whatever.

Some people prefer them. I have blue eyes but I usually think brown eyes/brown hair is more sexy.
