Yes. Most of the time I try to answer with the best of my ability so the person who looks at my answer says,"Wow, Crimson Fox is sure one smart guy. Ten points for him!!"

Sometimes. When someone is asking an actual question (one with a factual or hypothetical answer), I will shoot for best answer...what's the point of answering otherwise?

Now if the questioner is screwing around, or is an obvious troll, my goal is to be as much of a wiseass as humanly possible.

It depends on the question. If someone really needs help or advice, I'll answer the question as honest as I could. If it's just any random funny question... my goal would be the best answer.

no i answer to get on higher level and to help people who are asking questions and if i answer the best then that just seems like a bonus for my good work

Sometimes. If I have a strong opinion or I know I'm right I'll try for it, but if it's something simple, I just answer.
