If you have sex right before your period does that give you a chance at getting pregnant? I was reading other questions and It didnt really answer my question. It was either 3 days before my period, or 7 days before my period. I'm not exactly sure when I'm aspose to get it. So I was wondering if there is a chance on me getting pregnant now? Help please.

There is always a risk of getting pregnant at any point, before, during and after your period. I think I heard that most women are the most fertile 3-5 days before their period. That isn't every women though.

There's always a chance for pregnancy, but your most likely to get pregnant in the middle (in between your periods).

Technically there is only one certain day that you can get pregnant- the fourteenth day after your period when the egg is released. But everybody is different. If you're not sure count back to the fourteenth day of your cycle and if you had sex between that time then you could be pregnant.

Anytime you have sex you can get pregnant. The timing just increases/decreases likelihood.

You should really get on some type of birth control. I was on the pill for a while but the last few years have been getting the depo provera shot. You get a shot once every three Months and have no worries.

you get pregnant when you ovulate which usually is somewhere 14 days or after, after your period depending on your cycle, however having unprotected sex always gives you the chance of getting pregnant, its a slimmer chance but obviously can happen.

If you have a regular period (every month) I think you can have sex 7 days before your period. For me It is safe. I use rythm method. mark your calendar if you have a period that day of every month. then you will know eventually if you are fertile or not. Have a safe sex.
