solid hitting with Pujols, Sizemore and Jeter. Alou may be like a new player this now that he left SF. Bonds can still hit 25 or 30 home runs you just have to pay attention and not leave him in the lineup on his self appointed days off. I don't know what your thinking is on Cla Meredith but he is a question mark until later in spring training. I like Rafael Soriano, he should be the leading candidate to take over as closer when Wickman blows up. Clemens is eating up a spot on your roster, he doesn't even qualify to go on DL. If you can keep him he will probably only start about 14-15 games and maybe win 8. Or he may not play, so his bench spot is a liability especially if someone does get hurt or starts to slump and you need help. You can carry him into the season with this lineup but may need the spot if another player starts to tank.
Pat the Bat usually starts the season hot and then by June every right handed pitcher in baseball realizes he didn't learn to hit a curve ball in the offseason and he goes downhill from there.

Pretty solid overall and manageable players that are mostly predictable which makes it easy to know when to make moves. If Anibal Sanchez and Ted Lilly come through you have first or second place. In a standard 5x5 you should be in the top 4 in most categories. Saves won't be one of them unless Soriano takes over early. But balance wins leagues, not 1 category dominance.

Not too bad, have to say you are in a small league or they didnt do a good job of pre selecting.

Clemens I think is done, but who know. If there is a quality SP out there still go for him, if not whats there to loose by holding him a little longer and wait to see what SP does step up and make a splash and snag him then.

Bonds is going to be off this year and may hurt you due to him walking so much and not going to get you many numbers.

Alou Bonds Clemens are all ones I would consider dumping or hey try and trade them, there is always someone out there willing to take them.

Your pitching is probably too weak to win with, but I don't know what scoring system your league is using. See if you can trade an outfielder like Barry Bonds for a good pitcher. But also you should try to get a free agent pitcher better than Lilly and Lackey.

You should drop Clemens & pick up another closer. Clemens probabley wont play until midway through the season.
