specific amount of space you have to have between the top of the floor unit to the bottom of the wall unit?

years ago i fitted the cupboard units in my kitchen so that my home beer brewing bins would fit on the worktops my wife always complained they were too high i hadn't the courage to tell her, dont suppose this is much help, anyway good luck with kitchen

Theoretically, the top of the wall units would be level with the top of the larder unit.

So you would have the height of the plinth and the height of the larder unit. Then draw a line right round the kitchen and secure the units to that height.

it really depends on the overall height of your ceiling in the room and if you are tiling the space between worktop and underside of wall unit. decide how many tiles you would like and use that as a gauge for setting out I generally allow around 450mm - 500mm but that is beacause usually using 150mm tiles

no, stand at the floor unit, get your partner to hold the wall unit up, and whatever feels the right hieght for you to open the doors and reach into the cupboard easy is the right hieght. good luck

The only thing to watch out for really is that if you have any full-height units, the top of the cupboards line up with it.

Otherwise, it's up to you to set the spacing...

yes about 22" to 24" is generally practical otherwise its a long stretch to top of wall unit

Standard clearance is 18" from top of counter, to bottom of wall cabinet.

Anything between 18 or 20 inches, depends how tall you are.

if you are fitting a hob or free standing cooker or extract hood check the manufactures clearances this might determine the height purely on how it lines up with cabinets

What ever you feel comfortable with but usually 60cm or 2 feet.
