Subjugated = to bring under complete control, to vanquish, to make submissive.
There is no way Native people fit this description. Look into the American Indian Movement. Look into current Native movements. The government does still oppress Native people and still holds them against very racist standars. However, they have to do this because Native people are not subjugated (and I think they still want them to be).
Native people are a strong people!

Yes, the US Government has given the original people just a quarter of the land that was promised through treaties -- just enough to pacify SOME.
There are movement within different Native nations trying to keep alive their culture, language and religion, the Cherokees and the Sioux are two.
The American Indian war is not over, it's still being fought in the court rooms. Many American land developers want to take land that belong to indigenous people and they aren't having it.
So YES Native Americans are subjugated and are still victims in this "Land of Broken Treaties"
