It's fine. If you contract it then you need to tell your doctor so they can document any outbreaks you may have during your pregnancy. Especially when you are about to go into labor. They want to make sure you are not having an outbreak because that can cause harm to the baby so you would be rushed in for a c-section. Just keep it clean and safe and you'll be fine.

The baby should be fine, but have him take valtrex or something to reduce the risk of him passing herpes on to you. If you have herpes when you are pregnant there is a chance it can get passed on to the baby, but you doctor can help you reduce that chance.

I think that it would be ok. However, having unprotected sex with him, you might get herpes. If you do get herpes I think they would deliver the baby by c-section so that the baby would not get infected on its mouth and eyes.

No, because herpes can cause a potentially fatal infection in fetuses, also herpes can be transmitted to the baby.

yes...but before you attempt a vaginal delivery...you need to make sure you dont have an outbreak...could be passed to the baby...but if you guys were careful then you will be fine
