Derek, the blonde guy, is some psycho that is obsessed with Payton. He made her believe he was her brother, but was taking pictures of her at the same time. He would then stick the pictures of her on his hotel wall. He even had a girl dress like Payton and then he beat the crap out of her. Lucas found this girl in the hospital wearing Payton's jacket. Payton gave Derek a picture that Ellie drew for her. Derek then got the picture tattooed on his back. Payton does have a brother named Derek though. Her real brother Derek is African-American. He was deployed to Iraq a few episodes ago.

Derek, the blonde one is obsessed with Peyton. If you watched season 2 in the finale there was someone named "WatchMeWatchU" IM Peyton. 3rd season it wasn't brought up. But by the beginning of Season 4, Peyton finds a letter from her birth mom Ellie telling her that she has a brother. She actually does call her real brother Derek but he just kinda says to leave it alone. Well one day Peyton is doing her podcast and she mentions this brother that she just found out she has. So Derek (the blonde one) just shows up at her door and basically is like "i'm your brother." He of course comes between her and Lucas. This Derek takes pictures of her and Peyton gave him a picture and he had the picture tatooed on his back. Well Derek attacks Peyton and that's when Lucas and her real brother Derek show up and shove him out the window. He was missing for a a while, but they finally caught him. So considering last week's episode it'll be interesting to see what will happen next!

If your talking about the blonde fella then no he is not her brother he is a stalker.Remember that whole thing when peyton was getting creepy emails from 'see me see you' last season?Well thats blonde Dereck. She does have a real brother Dereck though, you should come across him in the next few episodes.

he's some random guy how decided to pretend he was he brother just to get closer to her and stalk her more. her real brother in the show is black. but this guy is twisted.
