Extremely common! I had a stuffy nose for nine months and as soon as my son was born it went away! Be sure NOT to use the over the counter nasal sprays to help your nose because in the long run your nose will become completely dependent on it and you will damage your nasal mucosa. Try Normal saline spay or nose drops ins ted and use a humidifier/vaporizer whe you sleep.

Yes, congestion is part of pregnancy. It's all part of the increase in fluids in your body. It's really annoying because sometimes it's hard to tell if you are sick, or just pregnant. You might also start getting sinus headaches.

Don't worry if you occasionally blow some blood out of your nose along with the snot (tmi?), either. It's similar to the bleeding gums thing, since you have increased blood volume.

Yes...a stuffy nose is normal.Your nasal passages tend to swell a bit and you feel chronically stuffed up.If you develope a lot of nasal discharge with fever see your Dr,sinus infection is no fun when you're pregnant.

Perfectly normal. I have had it through my whole pregnancy. It is due to hormones.
