Ok, I have had 3 kids, but maybe it is just old age or the fact that my youngest is almost 8 but for the life of me I can't remember what week they do the ultrasound and can see if the little critter is a boy or a girl. HELP? I can't wait! lol

Depends on your doctor. I found out I was having a girl at 18 weeks, but I think the norm is 20 or 22 weeks. Good luck to you and your baby.

It is possible for an ultrasound to determine your baby's sex as early as 16 weeks. Although it is possible, most normal women will get an ultrasound at the 20 week period to determine the baby's sex. No matter what you're hoping/praying for (boy or girl) make sure that you remember to pray for a HEALTHY baby :)

Today I found a cute little site with a "Chinese Sex Predictor". It goes by the age you were at the time of conception, and what month the baby was concieved in. It's only for entertainment purposes (so don't get too excited!) But I also read a blog where about 15 different women had used the same method and succesfully birthed boys or girls according to the charts. Not to mention that Chinese have supposedly been using this same method for years. Going by the chart I am supposed to deliver a boy this August, which is what I'm hoping for!

You should get a kick out of it!

Also keep in mind that even the Ultrasound makes mistakes! My cousin was expecting a boy her entire pregnacy, and delivered a beautiful baby girl a week before her due date. The doctor contributed this to the baby "hiding" behind the camera. Although this isn't rare (mis-predicting a baby's sex) I think the doctor said that the Ultrasound is usually about 75% correct when predicting your baby's sex!

i'm 17 weeks alongside and had a point II ultrasound, and then an Amnio on Monday. The Tech and the scientific professional (severe danger Obstetrics and Obstetrics ultrasound) the two say it rather is a woman! the two way for me the Amnio will tell me quickly adequate, LOL. i became instructed it rather relies upon on the tech doing the ultrasound, how precise the outcomes are, so don't be afraid to ask them how experienced they are. The scientific professional I seen does 20 or extra an afternoon and 6 Amnio's a week, i might say he's customary with of what he's watching. a minimum of I’d desire so! LOL.....:)

Around 20-22 weeks I think. That's when most of them do the ultrasound anyway but there may be a few done around 18.. They are doing mine in 3 weeks. I can't wait.

The best results is at 20 weeks, but I've heard that they were able to find it at 18. I would rather go at 20+ weeks since it will be the most accurate. Good luck!

At 20 weeks is when they can usually tell how well the baby is doing they can also determine the sex of the baby.

I found out at 13 weeks... but I was lucky. They usually don't do an untrasound to determine sex until 16-20 weeks.
