Now I will clear up some other misconceptions using my life as an example. First of all, I am a man married to a woman in a legal marriage by a minister which means that I must believe in some sort of God. I am not rich but I work. I grew up in a middle class home which meant I was not handed ANYTHING. I had to work for all that I have. I had to enlist in the military to get the money to pay for college. I did 20 years in the Navy and earned my Bachelors degree in English. The reason that I work is because I don't want anyone's charity or hand outs.
I love America but despise our current leadership because I feel that it is only serving the wealthy and not all Americans. I feel that our Government is spending too much time imposing its will on other nations when our own backyard isn't spick and span.
I do take responsibility for things. When I make a mistake, I stand up and admit it. The only perfect human being died on the cross and I don't have nail prints in my hands. A couple weeks ago I got a jaywalking ticket. I did not criticize the Police who gave it to me nor did I believe I was special. I paid the fine because I was in the wrong.
I do not use drugs or even drink alcohol. For one thing, I don't make enough money to afford these indulgences and I believe in taking care of my body. I am also faithful to my wife and I don't care for pornography.
I am for people to live their lives the way they choose and believe what they want to believe as long as it doesn't infringe on the rights of others. While I am not gay, I see no reason why a man can't marry another man or a woman can't marry another woman. I really don't care what goes on in any bedroom except my own.
I believe the Government is supposed to serve all people and when it doesn't do this in a satisfactory manner, I will say something. That is my right just as it is your right to praise it if praise is in order. After all, if we were supposed to agree with everything the Government did, I don't think there would be such a thing as letters to the editor, editorials, or talk radio and I don't think our elected representatives would welcome correspondence from the constituents.
I want to see the Government do a better job of taking care of ALL Americans regardless of race, creed, or social status. I don't want to see this done in the form of handouts but in terms of programs to help the deserving. I believe that if you give a person a fish he or she will eat for a day but if you teach a person to fish he or she will eat forever. I would like to see job training programs to help people become competitive in the work force. I would also like to see more programs to help people go to college or trade school.
Just wanted to show you that not all of us are Godless, Immoral people anymore than I believe all Conservatives are child molesters. God Bless you and have a wonderful day!!!

I just had to laugh when I read KCBA's response -- name me ONE liberal who has stated their position, backed it up with verifiable proof, and has practiced what they preached. You can't, can you? There's a reason for that: The true purpose of a liberal is to be a hypocrite. Do as I say, not as I do. They're basically whiny-@$$ed spoiled children who expect the world to conform to their point of view but don't want anyone else telling THEM what to do. They want to be able to do whatever the hell they want and not be held responsible for anything they do. They don't have the first clue about EARNING anything but they're the self-appointed experts as to what those who do earn a living should do with their earnings (READ: Subsidize a bunch of lazy-@$$es who feel that this country "owes them.") So they also have a couple of secondary purposes: (1) Be a leech on society and teach others to do the same, and (2) Promote any and every kind of abberant behavior with no consequences.

Think of all the good they've done through-out history. We never would of known it was bad to execute 6,000,000 jews and Christians if it hadn't been for hitler (who was socialist i,e, liberal)

We never would have known how effective murder can be in silencing your opponents without Lenin and Stalin (who were also socialist i.e. liberal)

Don't forget the killing fields of Cambodia either. Where the liberals in the U.S. conspired with the communists of North Vietnam to kill 3,000,000 people.

We never would have known how much we could do without, if Franklin Deleanor Roosevelt hadn't showed us the IRS.
