I would hide in the closet because it has soooo much clutter, they wouldn't find me until next week.

My first choice would be to try to get the hell out of the place and run to a neighbors or some other safe place (but I live in a relatively safe neighborhood where I know my neighbors).
My second choice would only work if I had tons of money (not so) and if I was able to do advanced planning for such a contingency. In that case, besides lots of security equipment, I would provide for a security door to the bathroom, or another room, and for secure external ventilation. I would lock myself into that room and use the secure cellphone I kept there to call security guards and the police and then wait out the intrusion.
If you don't have the luxury of running out the back door or of providing in advance for a really secure place to go to inside your home, then I think that you are likely to be screwed either way you choose between hiding under the bed or in a closet. If you have real reason to fear an intruder (i.e., someone who would not be scared to find you, or is likely to do some random or planned violence) hiding in either place is not likely to provide much security — though you might be better off trying to hide rather than not trying to hide.

Under the bed because they could see the shadow on the crack of the door of the closet, but under the bed they would only be able to see you if they were looking for you and they would have to look under the bed.

My closet doesn't have any doors....so I would have to say under the bed. Not really sure if there is room under there, though!! Haha!!

I'd hang outside the window. Then when he finds me and after he pees and craps on my head and beats my hands to a bloody pulp I'll look down and see......
That the ground was only 2 feet below me....
NOW, That's what pessed me off!

run out the door, climb out the window or hide in the attic. no one ever thinks of looking there.
