i am using web-page maker V2. i want to design my web-pages as per 1024x768. i have 14'' monitor and 800 x 600 resolution and can't go to 1024x768. becoz its not supported.

i just wan't to know whether 1024x768 means 1024 pixels in width by 768 pixels in height. Please explain in detail.

Yes that's what it means.

If your 14" monitor was capable of displaying 1024x768, you would find it difficult to read any text as it would be too small.

Yes, you answered your own question, Most web sites do either 800x600 or 1024x768. It's just that your driver for the monitor does not support the larger image size..

proper-click on your workstation and pass right down to elect "homes" then elect the "Settings" tab. the place it says "reveal screen decision" circulate the little bar proper or left until your decision is desperate at 1024 x 768. desire this facilitates.
