I have that same model and i use it every day doing electricial work and it works great and is one of the best drills out there at a pretty good price

Hitachi makes pretty good tools for the money. You might check at Sears (or Sears.com) for comparable kits and prices for Craftsman and DeWalt. If you will be using these tools more than just occasionally, it might justify buying through Sears and get the extended warranty as they will replace the set if a battery goes bad. Batteries tend to be pricey ($60 + each) and they will only last for a number of charging cycles (this is how they are rated other than voltage) with more cycles being more expensive.

I am a huge hitachi brand fan. I work for an equipment rental co. and for the money it is the most economical.
