Hopefully the partner that wants to swing has enough respect for the partner that doesn't.

Ultimatum!

That depends on what the non-swinging partner is willing to tolerate. Under most circumstances, if one partner doesn't want to swing, it would be considered cheating. Personally, I'd give the ultimate ultimatum.

I think you know the answer to your own question. If you love your mate, and I mean truly love her/him then how could you possibly stand back and allow her/him to participate in an activity that you deem unacceptable. It's one thing if you both are cool with it. It still would have it's complications but at least you would both be agreeing to ruin your marriage. Also do you have children? Cause you can guarantee this will not help your relationship with your spouse and will ultimately more than likely get a divorce. It is ultimatum time. Put your foot down now in no uncertain terms.

If he became truly interested on your needs, you would not be staring the reflect, wondering what the hell is going on. Your husband is sellfish and self absorbed, and it appears like he truly has no theory what love, romance, companionship and marriage is. it really is a confusing tablet to swallow, yet why bend this type for someone for see you later, once you get no longer some thing in go back? Have a severe communicate with him, enable him comprehend the thrilling is over, and he's both happy with that or no longer, there is not any in between. this manner of stuff destroys relationships very quickly.. so that you want to make up your thoughts about who you pick to be in this, locate out what he's truly searching for, and in case you could't provide that to him, you've a call to enable him pass locate it and stay married ( look any incorrect way) or spoil up and locate someone who likes female a lot extra appropriate.

I believe that if only one partner wants to swing, the partner who doesn't should get out of the relationship fast. I believe that the partner who is wanting to swing cannot possibly be true to the partner who doesn't. If anyone in any relationship feels at any point that they need something "else" or something "more" then they are being untrue to themselves. It is so unfair to be unfair to yourself just to make someone else happy.

No ultimatum... just say, "No."

An ultimatum is like, "You can do it, but I'm leaving if you do."

Don't give the option of doing it. Just say, "No, you can't swing." If s/he protests, just repeat, "No, you can't swing."

Now, if they do swing after that, then they're being unfaithful and you may have to carry out the ultimatum, but an ultimatum is conforntational. Just saying "No" is setting boundaries.

First, COMMUNICATE! Have the one who wants to swing explain in detail exactly why and what it means to him/her. Have the one who doesn't want to swing explain in detail exactly why not and what it means to him/her.

If after LOTS of talking, you still don't agree, there is no point in issuing any ultimatum. Either the one who wants to swing has to give up on the idea of swinging, or break up and find someone else who is into swinging.

As has been said by people who live the life .. swinging when one of the partners isn't really interested (or involved) will end the union. Everytime.
