For the same reason probably that they cover anna nicole smith like she is a legitimate concern for anybody. Actually, Louis gets almost no coverage in comparison. Oh well!

Don't know. But he is a leader just like the other racist leaders of our time. He's just more respected because he's sticking up for people whom he believes have been unfairly targeted, murdered, degraded and mistreated because of their race.

Probably have something do with the the media not screaming bloody hell, but that's just a guess, an educated one though.

Because he is black and they don't want to upset those folks. African Americans are mostly Democrats and since the mainstream press are the Domecrats lackys, you don't upset folks you are using for your political ends.

As mush as I hate to say it, I think its because he's black and he has a fairly big following. This is just one (of many) indicator America's double standard on black / white race relations.
