At my school, we had to use the class of 2007's colors. They were red, black and white.
We decided on using red and white roses for most of the stuff, like centerpieces and the picture set up, with black accents throughout. The tickets and favors will also have a red rose imprinted on them.
We need to come up with a theme name that obviously has to do with roses. It has to be "elegant", but everything we think of sounds kind of tacky. We're having a prom meeting at 5 pm (Eastern) and I would love any suggestions you have!

one word. Masquerade. Its a LOT better than your last three years of prom. Plus it gets attenders involved by allowing them to make or buy their own masks. Check out movies like The Phantom of the Opera which has a song dedicated to a masquerade ball. That Cinderella story with Hilary Duff? Even Van Helsing has a masquerade scene in it. Colors like red black and gold are big parts to the theme. The romantic, exquisite style gives a different flair to prom that is truly awespiring. I was head designer at my school and it was my option of choice but i was unfortunately out voted. Either way we still had the best prom of the decade so far. Prom decorating is a lot of fun and honestly i think a Masquerade is a perfect prom theme

My high school did Paris, Pearl Harbor, and Movies (red carpet, sets, cameras etc.) Somewhat romantic themes that can use roses. Better than Star Wars, rofl.

Well, for you beautiful lady, in my experiences, prom ocassion's colors are always red and white. why bother yourself for the colors? Bother yourself for your partner and your beauty at the prom. I think, you can bait a lad out there. be very careful in choosing your partner during prom 'cause that's one of the most memorable time of your life.
Go on and enjoy! You cannot turn back the time!

The theme should be like Def Leppards "Hysteria" video.... And they should play "Hysteria"
