All though the building dept. usually has a copy on file, they will probably not give you a copy.

However, you can probably get the name of the builder of the home from them. The builder should have a copy of the floor plans.

If the builder doesn't have a copy of the plans, you can try to find out who the architect/drafter was. They should have a copy on file.

Any of these methods may cost you a little money.

As a last method, sketch up the house on a piece of paper and take it to a drafting company or architects firm. (Drafting company is usually cheaper.) They can draw the house plan for you. Plus, you can modify the plan to your liking.

You could try the Municipality of Cleburne, TX.they should have all the blue prints of every house built under their jurisdiction.
