Please talk to your Career Counselor in school. That would be the best thing. If you know any doctors personally, through yuor friends, or whenever u visit a doctor, ask them for a little advise. It doesn't hurt. When you get enrolled in a college and even before you do, talk to your advisor before you register for any courses, and chalk out a plan. Then you meet up with your advisor regularly to see if everything has been going well. See if the college has a pre-med line of courses. Ask the advisor what kind of Bachelors degree would be most helpful for a career in Medicine. Maybe biology? I have also heard of medical programs that take students right out of high school. Do some research on the net, and enquire bout that from your advisor. The internet is a wonderful resource. Also, get some books on how to go about ur plan on becoming a doctor. They are amazing resources. All the best!

It sounds like you need to find out more about the lifestyle of a doctor. A doctors life IS his/her career. They regularly work up to 100-hour weeks and generally have no life or time for other pursuits.

Find out whether there's a career day at your community college, or find someone there who can advise you on the lifestyle of this profession (i.e., you cannot attend medical school at night)

In the United States, you need to have a Bachelor's degree, then graduate from medical school. You then complete a residency
and can then practice medicine.

The length of your residency depends on your speciality. Surgery, for example, is a 7-year residency.

Medical school is not just a class, it is your life. I don't think night classes are really viable.
