I am thinking of going to see The Number 23 tomorrow, but I want to know, really and truly: is it worth it? Did anyone like this film, or is it awful, because I've seen a lot of very bad reviews about it. To anyone who's seen the film, can you please tell me your opinions?

Tell, you the truth , I think it's a waste of money and time, he's only good in funny movies.

I just saw it this afternoon and I agree, save your money, wait until it's a discounted rental at Blockbuster or whatever. I mean, 45 minutes into the movie, I was squirming in my seat and checking my watch wondering when something interesting was going to occur.
Another 30 minutes later, things had begun to pick up (I remember noticing how it was 75 minutes into the film and 7+5 = 12, there were 12 apostles in the Bible and today was Sunday) but it wasn't scarey and it wasn't all that suspenseful.
Seriously, it was so slow and dull that I started thinking back how in college I could scare the other girls in the dorm by proving that certain dates in history were tied in to the anti-Christ and 666. I was there thinking "Today is February 25, 2007 so thats 2-25-2007 and 2 + 2 + 5 + 2 + 7 = 18; 6 + 6 + 6 =18! so today is 666!)
If I can sit there in the theater coming up with 666 examples, that tells you something about the movie.

My sister and I used to read movie reviews to decide what movies we would go see, and we always went to the ones that got bad reviews. Most of the time we liked them better than the ones with good reviews. I think it really depends on you and whether you like that type of movie, the actors in it and if the plot looks good to you. If you are unsure, wait for it to come out on DVD.

NOOOOOOO STOP SAYING THAT NUMBER. Ok that's out of me. Sorry those ads on here make me NOT want to see it. Sad thing is I thought the concept looked intresting until it was CONSTANTLY on here. Everyday I come to this site, then right there with featured questions is that STUPID number 23 thing.
