My belt was squealing for a little over a week and I just thought it was my alternator or a squeeky belt, even though it's brand new. Last night I was running my truck to get it warmed up and we all heard a loud snapping noise and we automatically all said it was the belt. So I went and turned my truck off only to find out that the round part that actually touches the belt had snapped off and was laying on the ground. If anyone can tell me how to replace it or a site that lets me read the instructions for free, I would be eternally grateful.

if it's anything like the one on my '88 there is one bolt holding it in , way too simple to fix , i recommend shelling out the $20 or so for a Haynes manual for it , she is at the age where the "fix or repair daily" legends start , good luck , have fun.
