Blimunda from Saramago's "Baltasar and Blimunda". Or William of Baskervilles from "The Name of the Rose". Or yeah, Qfwfq from Calvino's "Cosmicomics". And, who wouldn't want to, the Ocean from Lem's "Solaris". Plus, if my wickedness may be excused, ...God from the Bible - both the Father or the Son would do.
(ok, heh, when I was a teen, it was Olivier de Charny from Dumas' "The Countess de Charny")(not to mention Peter Pan, and all four musketeers, of course, ...that's still actual)

I was reading a book called The Secrets of Jin-Shei and there was this girl called Xaforn. She was a guard and was very skilled in protecting people and put on very good performances of her swordsmanship and fighting techniques. :)
But then she died while protecting her friend Qiaan.
It's ok if it's a fiction book, right?

If I had to choose someone from Pride and Prejudice, it would be Elizabeth.
If I could choose any character, it would be Sethe from Beloved (by Toni Morrison).

I really like this question; it's a fun one.
I'd like to meet Gatsby from The Great Gatsby and I'd like to meet Isadora Wing from Fear of Flying. I'd like to meet Augusten Burroughs, who wrote Running with Scissors. Oh and Robert Langdon from Angels and Demons of course. :)
Another question that might be neat to ask that i may ask in the future...is what character would you want to be...what
character's life would you want to have.
Thanks. :)
