Okay, so kids these days think they're "punks", "emo", "preps", etc. and they think that it makes them original, but they are conforming to what a "punk" (or whatever they call themselves) dictates. Do you think that a "Plain Jane" (so to speak) is really the non-conformist?

A real nonconformist would not belong to any group nor associate with any group. They would be beyond definition and could not be described as simply as punk etc.

Noncomformists are just conforming to be a group that supposedly doesn't conform...it's the people who just simply don't give a damn that are the real noncomformists...
