The phrase is, "get your act together". It simply means to straighten up and put things in order, whether it be your attitude, thinking or habits. Such as, "Quit messing up, get your act together".

I would assume that it meant the same as getting your ducks in a row.I have heard of "get your act together". To me it means analyze your life, figure out what it is you want to do make a plan and try to follow through.Start with the most important and work your way through to the rest.

It can also mean to straighten yourself out. Example being a kid not doing his homework and running a C-. "Get your act together" from the teacher would then mean to do his work and get better grades.

You must mean "get your act together". It means "straighten up and act like a civilized human being"

I believe the phrase is "get your act together" and it means take care of yourself. do what you are suppose to do and stop screwing around!

it simply means to calm yourself down and think things through before you act, a self check so to speak. example: before i make a public speech, i put my act together by checking my appearance, taking a few deep breaths, relaxing, focusing, and double checking my next moves.
