I have lots of books in a variety of subjects (academic, religious, fiction, science fiction/fantasy) that I want to sell. Are there any stores anywhere in the Los Angeles area that buy used books?

I should clarify that I'm looking for a STORE that I can bring them to and sell them (like Half Price Books); online selling will not work for me.

I'd have to guess that Johnny's Used Books would buy books. Not sure if, since it's in Westwood, it's just a textbook store, but I'm guessing it wouldn't be. Probably best to call them and make sure (and I bet they'd be able to tell you where to go if it's not to them).

Check out the yellow pages they have used book stores all over.
