I have a big party on sunday and now this!For a few weeks my left eye has had a bruised feelingg(even though it doesn't appear to be) but i woke up this morning and the outter corner is massive compared to the other eye!I have a side fringe which covers it but i want to look gorgeous and i'm worried about using eye make up.What should i do??And whats wrong with my eye?

Sounds to me like you're getting a pimple on your eyelid. Try Oxy.

could be a blocked tear duct. the eye lids have glands in the that secrete constituents of the tear film and if they get 'bunged up' they can be quite sore. The warm wet flannel pressed against it is good because any mucus up there will get runnier and release the pressure and can be gone in a couple of days, the lid scrub (diluted johnson and johnson baby shampoo rubbed along the lid) is a good idea too incase of any hygene issues or ifections. It's a good idea to see your optician (or gp) too for a first hand opinion.

Sounds like an infection - don't wear your hair over your eyes. For Sunday, try plonking teabags which have been in the fridge on your eyes - very soothing. Sounds like you were hit - maybe in your sleep - and dthe bruise is coming out now. Just enjoy your party and if in doubt get somebody to clatter your other eye to match!! See a doc.

could be a blocked tear duct. Put a warm, wet washcloth on it for 10 minutes a couple times a day. This should help bring the swelling down

sounds like the beginning of a stye. wash it thouroughly with johnson's baby shampoo diluted with water, and use warm compresses on it

u may have a sty!!! it makes it feel like your eye is bruised and it gets rele sensitive to touch!

cold tea is excellent for sore eyes .. my doctor told me this when my daughter had an eye infection and it worked fantastic !
