i don't really know, but i HEARD that fred durst slept with one of the other guy's wives and that's why they split up.

Wes Borland later rejoined the band, and they wrote and recorded "The Unquestionable Truth, Part 1" which bombed. Wes left the band again to start his own band called Black Light Burns, who have released 2 CDs already. Wes will also be Marilyn Manson's guitarist on his next tour. Wes further stated that he is completely done with Limp Bizkit, and said the band is pretty much broken up. More recently, John Otto has been playing drums for a new group called The Killer & The Star, featuring Cold's vocalist, Scooter Ward. Over the last couple months, Fred Durst and other members of Limp Bizkit have claimed to be hard at work on a new album, with Terry Balsamo (who has played with Cold and Evanescence) replacing Wes on guitar.

they had about 2 hits, and then everyone got sick of fred durst and rap-metal. so they went bye-bye.
