Where does the saying "like yesterday" come from?

I heard someone say, "I can get mean and nasty like yesterday..." I have heard that saying "like yesterday" twice lately but, had never heard it before. Interesting. Anybody know the origin?

haha maybe it means that the person was mean and nasty the day before....
