Sunny California?

How much direct sun is good for a person living in southern California. I mean one day it rains, next it is 90, a week later it is 25, BUT when all is perfect and its about 80 and sunny for a few week. How much direct sunlight is needed daily before it becomes harmful?

Sunlight itself is not harmfull to you its the UV rays that can cause the problems. Amounts of time vary depending on who you talk to. The main thing is to avoid getting sunburned, other than that, enjoy the sun.

You really only need about 20 minutes a day to get the benefits (vitamin D, mood, etc.) Always wear sunblock.
