Patrick Henry, who famously said "Give me liberty or give me death" and called treasonous by others for opposing King George.

Benedict Arnold. He was a traitor to the new United States and loyal to the mother country Great Britain and King George.

It just depends on who wins the war, doesn't it? And could it be any more ironic that France helped the US win? (Benedict Arnold hated France)

Washington for going home to Mount Vernon after the war was won, even though many wanted to make him a king.

Hamilton for taking a clear stand against slavery.

Franklin, just becuase he's Franklin.
