im looking for a movie i watched in the 80`s its a kids movie but not a cartoon its something like land of far away or to that effect i`ve been looking for this movie for about the last 10yrs if someone could tell me the name of it and where i could find it

Without more details, it is hard, but it might be Mio min Mio. It literally translates to land of far away. It's not a foreign film or anything. It had Christopher Lee (Count Dooku from Star Wars) and Christian Bale (The new Batman) in it.

I have a feeling it's 'Explorers', starring Ethan Hawke, and River Phoenix.
In that film, they find a way of creating a bubble that will take them into outer space.
It's cool, and the aliens are just weird!

try a search of 80's kids movies....the internet does work..visit a big video store and speak to the oldest person there maybe they might remember...Neverending Story sounds correct but give more details someone out there knows
