Guinea worm only in Ghana? this is shallow.
Guinea worm manifestation is common in the sub sahara region of Africa. It is not totally eradicated asin "totally" but the infection rate is insignificant now in Ghana.Go and do your research well.Guinea worm infection can erupt anywhere provided the water system is unhealthy and allowed to breed their parasites.Unfortunately, all the bad and unhealthy water come from Africa.people walk into the streams of water, fetch and drink them without treatment. The only solution will be to get vaccinated and the governments do something about the water system.
