Well, im naturally blonde and people always assume that im stupid because im blonde. It really REALLY annoys me. I mean, im predicated A's and A*'s at gcse and am doing an a level 2 years early so i cant b that stupid.
I just want to know people's opinions on this,

Because we are, sweety! lol. Seriously, as a natural blonde I am far from stupid. I have a degree in physics and I actually understand a lot of theoretical physics about the universe and M-theory. I think, because our society has this view of blondes being beautiful, there is a certain amount of trying to take us down a peg or two.
I know, from my own experience this is true. When I'm not being told I'm stupid (because I'm a blonde) I get a lot of, you have nothing to complain about, everything has been given to you, you have it easy (which is not true, it is pretty depressing to be constantly told you are dumb because of your hair color). Its all part of the same thing. I am blonde, I have been told I'm beautiful, and I am intelligent. Some do not think anyone should have it all.

ya, right! If anything it's the fake blondes who are stupid. All that bleach sinks into their brains!!
Natural blondes aren't stupid at all. I'm natural blonde and don't seem to have a problem with people assuming I'm stupid. Maybe California, where I am, is more relaxed about that subject.

Most of the extremely intelligent girls I know are blonde. It is just a stereotype, so don't get annoyed..but the whole stupid blonde thing gears more toward common sense, not book knowledge. So if u do not possess strong street knowledge and people notice it, they don't think its just a coincidence that your blonde, they think its BECAUSE u are blonde. It is pure jeallousy that is the motor behind that rage and idiotic joke myth. They cant stand the fact that that they themselves dont have special colour of hair. Look at the globe, what do you see? 99% of people have black or dark hair. Now is it any wonder, that if you for example are born dark haired, you are angry as hell to them that are not like the rest of globe ;)
and by the way, I myself am damn proud to be a descent of the wiking race :) So should everyone else who is a genuine blonde!
About the ones that dyes their hair, I can only wonder and shake my head, no matter what direction the hair colour is changed.

because in many circumstances! (im no longer conserving each blonde does this) yet they act ditzy. Im no longer conserving its in simple terms blondes that do this because I absolutely have met a ton of stupid pink heads, brunettes and black haired human beings. some human beings absolutely celebrate with being conventional because the dumb blonde. Why? I absolutely do not comprehend. yet I for one can not stand being round those females. It in simple terms sucks that my college is done of them......

It's a saying that is too far involved in American culture. Think of it this way. Your proving all those people wrong beside do you see how often people dye their hair blond. Eventually this saying will go away but for now your going to have to suck it up and prove them wrong.

There are a lot of definitions of dumb. I know people who aced the SAT tests and had a hard time finding their way home. So you get straight A's. Look at other things you do.

through out history and time itsefl there have been a great number of "dumb blondes" so those who may not be dumb at all have been ruined by those blondes who messed it up for you
