King parrots. Apart from being beautiful, they come and sit on my deck and will eat out of my hand without any training.

Hi. Ithink mine has to be the Red Kangoroo. They are just amazing animals. It amazes me how something SO small when its born can turn into something so beautiful and move with style. Female kangaroos, called does, and their relatives give birth to tiny, underdeveloped young that are then carried in a special pouch, called a marsupium, on the doe's body. Inside the pouch, the joey attaches to a nipple and nurses for several months before venturing out into the world. Joeys often peek their heads out of the pouch to have a look around weeks before they head out on their own. They are born hairless and blind and, immediately after birth, they crawl up the outside of the mother kangaroo to the pouch. Once there they start eating. While in the pouch, for the next 225 days or so, they eat, sleep, and develop the rest of the way.

The Australian magpie, they are beautiful birds that are clever, have a lovely song and some can even mimic things (one that lives near me says hello, does car alarms and barks like a dog). Just don't go near them when they are nesting, the males can get pretty nasty.

My favorite is the Salt Water crocodile, they're rough, tough and the closest think we've got nowadays to a living dinosuar.

They are very cool and powerful predators. They are my favorite animals. They have really thick skin and are the ultimate predator.

Gotta go with the Stingray. Sounds like a public servant, if you ask me.

If only we could get Paul Hogan to go swimming.
