I've seen Black Sabbath in concert three times, and watching him play live is awesome. Yes, he is that good.

I think he's a decent player, a great song writer. It really depends on what you think qualifies a player as "good". There are tons of more technically gifted players out there, but how many of them can write a song that people will enjoy listening to?
