Oh yea, they suck. However, it's something you are going to have to get used to, especially if you are planning to attend college. Teachers want you to develop critical thinking skills. That is a big reason for the research papers. They also want you to learn how not to plagarize others. It is important to know how to write papers and use your own mind and thoughts to write something that is completely unique.
If you need help with your paper, feel free to e-mail me or IM me. I would be happy to help out. I'm a college student and have recieved A's in both Comp 1 and Comp 2. I'm excellent at writing papers and would be more than happy to help out a fellow student! Reguradless, good luck!

research is the best way to help you develop your skills and processes in the acquisition of information. you are required to locate, deseminate and critique information and then justify your opinion. while you may not realise it, these skills are vital in ensuring you become a productive well informed citizen of our world! hang in there, the more you do, the easier it gets!
