Good question! And the answer is,,,,it depends on the species.
Some spiders hunt only at night (nocturnal), while others only during the day (dirual).

Do a search and learn more about them. They are an interesting creature, even if the do creep me out.

yes, some spiders are nocternal, yet some are not its a 50 ,50!

no spider are not nocternal becasue i see them during the day time and nocternal means they only come out at night.

yes about half are nocternal I was having dinner last night and saw a golden orb (i think it was that one) and it was making a web over the window

Some are, some aren't.

There is this one spider that likes to put up a web every single night between our two cars in the driveway.

Have you ever walked out on a cold morning and run face first into a spiderweb? ::ARGH::

Some are Some aint......id say about 50-50 chances are theres a Spider less than 5ft from you right now you just dont see it

I say yes, since I almost never see them in the day time.

I just realized it is almost spring. Then they have babies and come out like crazy.
