came back with no achievements" still another sign that Condi's diplomatic endeavors re Palestine and Israel are all for naught? Does Israel take the U.S. seriously anymore re the failed "Roadmap"? For that matter, why is it that Bush can't take the bull by the reigns and arrange to speak PERSONALLY with Ehud Ohlmert and Mahmoud Abbabs himself? Or for that matter, is Bush so tied up in the Iraq mess that he prefers to stay out of the Israel-Palestine conflict? Is Condi in over her head?

rare2, Jimmy Carter spent his entire term as president with Isreal and Palistine, to no avail. Rice is nothing more than an American 'symbol' meaning, not more than an empty envolope. She's not taken serious by ANYONE. I personally know one jewish man, when he sold his company, gave Isreal 10 million dollars. That's just ONE man.Isreal couldn't care less about what the Bush administration say's or anyone in America say's. I didn't particularly care for Carter, but in his last book, he points out just how Isreal thrives on contraversy. Condi's not over her head but she may as well be beating her head against their wailling wall.
