A MAN not a BOY.
A man is responsible and selfless.

To be a good husband a MAN must marry a WOMEN not a GIRL
A women is responsible and selfless.

A MAN looks after his WOMEN
and a WOMEN looks after her MAN.

If a MAN marries a GIRL and not a WOMEN he will end up being a slave not a husband. If a WOMAN marries a BOY instead of a MAN she will end up slave not a wife.

Wow! No sexism involved at all --it's about two parties giving it up for the other.

Strength of character and conviction, integrity and being loyal. Women complain about how they want men to be more fluffy and emotional, but they also want strength. Instinctively, they want to know they can rely on you to kill the big, bad spider in the kitchen or be brave enough to go check that noise downstairs wearing your slippers and carrying a baseball bat. They also want to know you'll be a good father. Beyond that, all the other stuff (like doing house chores, cooking, etc.) is extra credit UNLESS she is all ready capable of all of the above. Then, you're on equal ground with her and you need to pick up some of the slack.

You already must be a good husband because your wife is still with you the only possible thing you could do is ask her what annoys her about you even then you will know what makes her love you

To be a benevolant leader amongst others.

A man that sets bounderies with others related to how he is treated, and how his wife and family are treated, without losing his cool.

A woman likes to feel needed to a certain degree (like men).

Honestly, any woman worth marrying will not expect you to be "perfect" all the time, and will still love you. Every once in a while, it's nice to hear something like, "you are my princess" or something sugary affectionate.

And if you are thinking of getting married, and you've heard that wives quit wanting sex, I'll let you in on a simple secret to let that not happen:

If you suprise your wife once in a while by doing something she normally does, or make her life easier (throw some wash in, or cook her dinner) and act like you aren't expecting something in return (and you did it out of your love for her), your wife will initiate sex with you. I'm serious- you make her life easier, and she will be all over you.

*Some* men haven't put those two ideas together yet. It isn't really flowers or cards or candy- it's favors like that which will dang near promise great, regular sex.

The do nots that men do sometimes:

Make thier wives feel dumb by "why would you THAT?"
OR
"why would you THINK that way?"

Even worse- eluding in any way that she isn't worth much in comparison with other women.

Most women notice the little favors (we're detail oriented, you know). :-)

Put her first in everything you say and do....she'll do the same for you. Be open and honest. I know men don't like to communicate, but when you don't...it makes womeon think you're hiding something & we tend to think the worst possible scenario. It's better to avoid that whole situation by just being honest about everything.
