Natural and herbal hormones that don't require a prescription do nothing to feminize or prevent masculization, anything you would experience would be a placebo effect. If you want the real things, you have to talk to a gender therapist for 3 months minumum, be diagnosed with Gender Identity Disorder (look it up on wikipedia), then go to a doctor who does blood tests to make sure the hormones won't kill you.

You said your a crossdresser, do you want the hormones to reduce your crossdressing urges, or are you a transsexual, who plans on changing your body to the opposite sex? If you want to e-mail or instant message me feel free to do so.

There's not much chance of getting anything you might be looking for from the herbal estrogen, and tests are starting to show they don't do much for the women they were meant for. But, there is an on-line drugstore, where people can get prescription estrogen without a prescription... Just be aware self medicating ones self is very dangerous and can even result in death. So caution is the key word here. I would suggest you talk to a psychologist who is experienced in gender disorders and state how and what you are feeling and follow the path that it leads you. If you are truly transgendered and you wish to change it can happen if you start at the beginning with a counselor.
To do what is necessary a psychologist and the Dr.s involved and yourself must follow the Harry Benjamin Guidelines completely. These are set in place to assure everyone that they are on the correct path when treating individuals with gender disorders, and no mistakes will be made psychological or physically (in terms of the patients health).
The sooner you see and talk to a professional the sooner you might get started so make an appointment and follow your heart.
Good luck and take care,...and try to remember you are not alone ...Many people have been where you are right now and have started their journeys with a first step from there....

I've recently read a book where a teenage boy started taking his mothers hormones (she was going through metapause) and it didn't really do anything but make his voice a little higher. There are hormones you can take though that start to control erections and limit ejaculation. I'm not too sure about who you should go to but you could go to the closest health clinic and ask about how you could go about getting those hormones. If you're young (as in a teenager) then I would sugest a free clinic where they don't ask as many questions. Now, I'm not male to female transexual but I am here to help if you have any questions or just want to talk. Message me sometime.

The only thing that those non-prescribed hormones do is endanger your life and empty your purse. The Herbal supplements do absolutely nothing to help. You are best off seeing an endocrinologist that specializes in transgender issues.

You life is to valuable and to short to risk it all on over the counter remedies in this area.

I would doubt that anything over the counter would be as effective as a designed drug. Find a gay doctor...I have a gay doctor and I would be able to discuss things like this with him. I had a reaction to a diurectic drug once that caused my breasts to grow significantly (and quickly and painfully, and in my case unwanted)....he told me that they routinely gave it to drag queens...You won't get any answers like that from a straight doctor...also if you can't find a gay doctor..find a gay help center and they should be able to direct you
