Well, a friend of mine (Carl) was annoying to me to no end, and he was using my laptop with asking and then he got upset at me because I got upset at him and he kept asking me why I was upset when he knew the answer. He kept on bugging me and was getting on my nerves and he finally got the bad side of me. So, when he got up and left to go check his mail, I decided to take his phone and to hide it in my purse. When he came back, he didn't even realize it was gone and he started leaving to go to work, when he got out the door, he came back in and asked if anyone had seen his phone. Of course, my friends (Sean and Laura) told him that they didn't have it and of course i was the only one left at the table. So, he left again. While he was gone, I took his phone and put back on the table. When he came back, he threatened to do something to the person that took his phone. So, I pointed to his phone and asked if it was his. He said yes and that it wasn't there before. Is that right to do?

Well by nature I am a vengence is mine sayeth the Lord, but this is one of those things where he really likes you and he was being annoying and joking around with you until it got a bit rough. When it is like that, I say don't dish it out unless you cannot take it. As long as you did not harm or truely still the phone there was no harm in this. You were just giving him a little taste of what you felt when he used your laptop with out permission. He is a big boy and should know better. It not a good feeling when someone has something and will not give it back, he was not listening to reason and I think you just gave him a small taste of how that feels. I know I just repeated myself sorry.

It bugs me when people want leave your stuff well enough alone but when you have theirs that is a different story. I would have ended the little lesson with an explanation. It is like talking to a child but that is what he needed. I would have said that is how you made me feel when you would not give me my computer back. It is not a good feeling is it?

Yeah and while you're at it, try hiding his juice box and security "banky". Then for lunch, open up a can of "Chef Boy Are You Immature".

You should have taken pictures of a chick, so that he'd have some explaining to do to his wife/girlfriend.

Nope that wasn't right to do.

You should have taken your laptop from him if you did not want him to do anything on it.
