It must be great having the chance to watch college football, party alot, and still get a top ten education in your field of study while having chicks along the side.

Great, and its because of the size of the universities (aside from Northwestern, but they have the city of Chicago so its irrelevant) and their ability to offer such a broad range of everything... from activities and clubs, to programs of study, to social opportunities, Big Ten schools really do give students the opportunity to explore every avenue you can imagine -- and having the name of a top notch school on your diploma isn't bad either. It's college life. Live in the dorms (at least the first year), go to class, study, go to games if you like that kind of thing, go to parties if you want; there are lots of on campus and off campus activities to participate in. Personally I was never really into the sports activities or big parties, I just spent time with friends in my free time.
