I downloaded custom content on thesimsresource.com...(read more?)?

Question

I downloaded custom make-up and hair on thesimsresource.com and installed them to the game, but when I went to the game, none of the custom things were there. What am I doing wrong? Thanks...I've downloaded floors and wallpapers before and they worked, but teh hair and make-up never work.

You have to save the things you downloaded to your Downloads folder inside the EA GAMES folder and if it is a WINZIP file you need to EXTRACT it to the DOWNLOADS folder and if it has a little blue icon next to it with a person in white in it you need to double click on it and hit okay for it to be in the game.

I don't know how you are doing it or where you are putting them.... but, floors and walls should automatically install.

If you are just downloading regularly, then you should have a folder in your EA games, sims folder just for downloads (make one if need be) where you unzip all the downloaded content.

You can not do that while the game is running, you need to make sure it is not - and then reload the game (and make sure the 'use custom content' - or words to that effect, option is ticked.
