Call her now. I had the same thing along with some tightening and I was told to go to the hospital and get checked out. You really should call the doc because they understand your situation better and will be able to advise you on what to do. You don't want to go into preterm labor. In the meantime drink some water, I was told I was dehydrated making Braxton Hicks worse.

If you are having more than 4 in an hour, I'd give her a call right away. It sounds like you are having real contractions. They usually are fairly painful, come on kind of like waves, and have a pattern to them. I went into pre-term labor at 30 weeks (I'm 32 weeks now) and found out I had dialated and was 50% effaced. They kept me in the hospital almost a week to help slow down the contractions and they gave me a pill called Niphedipine to help slow down the contractions (nasty stuff...makes me dizzy and gives me headaches.) You don't want to go into labor if you can help it at this point in time. If you are only have one or two in a hour, then you still might want to give your doctor a call, but they will mostly likely not send you to the hospital at this point, but they may ask to see you earlier to just check things out. Good luck :)

Definately call right now since you're only 33 weeks and are painful...if you're having any bleeding then definately do NOT hesitate to call immediately.

The baby is far enough along to survive with medical attention if you are in pre-term labor...but you've got to call your doctor!

You need to time both the duration of the cramps and the length of time between them. Then call your doctor with that information. It may be as simple as Braxton-Hicks contractions, or it could be the start of real labor. The Dr. will want to know the intensity of the pain - can you talk through it? not talk through it? He/she will then decide what to do.

It sounds like it could be contractions. You should definately call your doctor. Feel your stomach when the pains start. Is it harder than normal?

It is most likely the ligaments that support your uterus stretching. It can hurt alot but you should still consult your doctor. Some pain is normal some isn't. It isn't for you to decide but your doctor. best of luck

I'd call her right away.Make certain the cords are not around the babies body. PAIN tells you something is wrong.
Good Luck. Speedy Delivery.
