Not all girls throw like that and I have seen some guys have a pretty odd style of throwing too!

It's not just girls that throw like girls. Anyone whose ever played a sport involving throwing a ball (particularly baseball) feels that it's a very natural motion, but the truth is that it's not. I've met plenty of guys in my day that have never played sports, that's looked like a 10 year old girl with a broken arm trying to throw the damn thing. When you think about it, most of us are taught how to throw the ball from a very early age and quickly become quite good at it. Watch a youngster start throwing for the first time (boy or girl) and you will see the same awkward throw from both, watch a guy or girl whose been playing for years and you may see them both throw quite well. The term throwing like a girl comes from a long history of girls not playing sports, thus having no idea how to throw, and there is still a large majority of girls who don't play a sport that involves throwing and that's why the term still prevails.
Believe it or not, YOU threw like a girl at one time.

the correct answer is because girls with no experience in throwing balls tend to throw with their opposite foot. This makes it look awkward. That and they may face forward rather than from the side. All this makes for an awkward looking throw. It's not a girl thing, though many girls do it. It's just experience. Guys that have never played sports will do the same thing.

I'm not sure we people always use that expression. Throwing isn't associated with gender by the way. You either throw good or bad. I should know because I played softball and I didn't throw "like a girl". Stop using that expression because its lame and doesn't even apply to baseball/softball players.

Careful, that's sexism, that will get you in a lot of trouble with "girls". Besides, girls can throw, probably as good as some guys. There used to be a women's baseball league during World War II.

I have no idea. I think some softball players at my high school said their shoulders are built a little different or something. Thats why they throw underhand. It doesnt make sense to me but oh well for them lol.

Since I cant quite comprehend your question, I'm going to have to assume you are 9 years old, and therefore dont understand that girls are just as good of athletes as men.

i am mad at you... there are great baseball players that i know, that are girls and can throw a lot faster than some guys that i know.
